Housing:

Camping onsite 5$ (total price for the full event cash upon arrival).
RV/Van camping limited space 10$ (total price for the full event cash upon arrival).
1/2 mile away: Camper, airstream, and three tiny houses for rent.
There are countless airbnb's and other accommodations in the area.
The Society Hotel is a really nice/ pretty affordable hotel & hostel in town with a really nice spa and bathhouse (20 minutes from the land, and make sure to book the one in Bingen, not Portland!), here is the link: https://thesocietyhotel.com/bingen/

Getting there:

It is recommended to arrive Wednesday night as we will start early on Thursday at 9:30am.
If you live in the area you are welcome to commute to and from the event.
The closest airport is Portland Airport. You can rent a car, or take a taxi/uber/lyft straight to the land. I will be doing one shuttle run to the airport to pick up some people on Wednesday.
There is also a shuttle from Portland to Hood River (25 minutes from the land) and I will also be doing 1-3 shuttle runs from town to the land on Wednesday (not Thursday!) and Sunday.
Please inform me (savannahherhearth@gmail.com) of your travel plans when you have made them so that I can coordinate with others and help you find the best way to get to and from the land!

Driving Directions Location:

The Illuminated Wise Woman will take place at Mystic Springs, a 12-acre family homestead situated alongside the White Salmon River. The land is located 20 minutes North of the town of White Salmon, Washington in the Columbia River Gorge. Located 3/4ths of a mile north of BZ Corner, along highway 141, 20 minutes from White Salmon headed towards Trout Lake, WA. Turn right on Winter Run Road, you will see a large wooden sign hanging that is hard to read, but says: Mystic Springs. There are three dirt driveways, stay right! You will see signs for where to park. Please note that while Google Maps will usually take you right here, Apple Maps does not always bring you to the right address.

Additional Notes:

We are outdoors for a lot of the time. The classroom does not have air conditioning and it will be hot! Come prepared.
This is a family residence! Please note that a family lives onsite with four dogs.
Please do not bring any dogs to the site.
Babies in arms only.
Let us know if you need a chair to be comfortable. We will have some blankets and pillows to sit on, if you are driving consider bringing your own!
There will be time after dinner to sit, sing, and dream together.
